Buying Art and the VALUE of Art

Buyers are forever looking for bargains! I am a bargain hunter, too.
However, I view buying art very differently from how I view buying things I need and like to own.
I have the utmost respect for artists whoare selling their artwork at prices that may appear to be high.
We artists are selling work that we create with our bare hands and creative minds.
Painters often begin working with a blank canvas or white sheet of paper. We transform the nothingness of the blank canvas or white paper into an image that never existed before.
These images that we create can open up worlds ofbeauty and special meaning to you.
We are creating inanimate life from scratch.
Many of us pour our heart and souls into our art.
We expect to be gepensated for our work with the money we charge. This is a reasonable expectation.
Artists are unique in that we create images that may enhance your lives. We create beauty, vistas, and worlds that previously did not exist.
We will enhance your lives with our artwork, if you will pay the price.
